Hello, My name is Donna Cline, hence the D. C. in D.C. Creations. All my life I have been interested in Arts and Crafts. Growing up I took classes in everything that was available. But my greatest love has always been Cross Stitch. I started out like most, with the store bought kits. Then I subscribed to every Cross Stitch magazine available. I would make things so fast, that my family and friends were talking about using all my work as wall-paper on the walls.
One day I was looking for a pattern for a particular cartoon character. I looked everywhere with no success. So I decided to make my own. From there sprang another dozen of projects. I started designing on graph paper (and yes I went through a few notebooks of that). I have also been commissioned to do projects for friends and family (some are pictured on my Portfolio). Then two years ago I hurt my arm at work and couldn't Cross Stitch like I used to. So my husband bought me a Cross Stitch program. So now I design my projects on the computer.
Everyone kept telling me, "You ought to sell these". So here I am. I am not out to GET RICH!! In fact the money I make from this site goes to pay for my son's homeschool supplies. I am trying to offer affordable patterns that regular stitchers like me can afford and the best QUALITY available. I do offer a Guarantee because if your not happy and can't stitch from the pattern I have made, then of course I will refund your money!! So far there have been no unhappy customers and I hope to keep providing the best patterns and the cheapest online.
